Owen was formed in the winter of 2000. Keith (vocals) and Roger Bonsang (guitar), along with Paul Palumbo (guitar), put an ad in The Boston Phoenix for a drummer and bass player. As a result, Shawn Hudson (drums) and Jay Coimbra (bass) were added to the lineup. Owen's strong bond lies within their love of melodic song writers like Elvis Costello and The Beatles. They recently finished recording a project with producer Dan McLoughlin (of the Push Stars).
