Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke his finger! What will this mean for his girlfriend, Jessica Simpson?
Guess it depends on which finger.
What money-saving tips can you offer your fellow Americans in this time of economic crisis?
It’s too late to cash in your war bonds; you’re about 50 years overdue. See if you can buy stock in yellowcake uranium in a foreign market.
What/who is your favorite fall fruit?
Those pimply colorful gourds. I can’t figure them out. They’re like the ugly stepsisters for the pumpkin. Can you eat them? No. Are they pretty? No. Do you need them on your table? Yes. Do you know why? No.
What can you see from your house?
Russians. I live in West Hollywood.
Last Comic Standing is executive-produced, in part, by Peter Engel, who also produced Saved By The Bell. Which SBTB character would you most want to make out with?
There was a substitute-teacher character on there, Jeremiah Lasky. I think he and Kelly did it. Anyway, he was mature, hot, and I’ve since seen him on a few other shows. I’d mouth-kiss him.

Dining options for night owls are limited to a handful of Chinatown eateries and a few dubious diners. We also suffer from a dearth of good street food: what we’d give for one decent LA-style taco truck!

Even a slice of zucchini makes you want more . . . zucchini. You are perhaps vegan? Order two of these and sneer at the carnivores of the world.

It’s eye-opening for a professed omnivore to visit the improbably named T.J. Scallywaggle’s, a 100-percent-vegan pizza and sub shop.
- The West Deck
Shame on us. There we were, scratching our heads over which Newport restaurant to choose as the destination for an visitor, and we didn’t think of the West Deck until last.
- Caffé Itri
At 18 years, Caffé Itri is one of the longest-running places on Cranston’s “restaurant row”, and for very good reason, as we re-learned on a recent visit.

Gran Gusto is an Italian delight located as close to the middle of nowhere as it gets in North Cambridge.
